Jesus told us that the greatest commandments are simple yet powerful: love God and love your neighbor (Matthew 22:37–39). During the month of February, as hearts turn toward love, Serve City invites you to step into that calling in a meaningful and tangible way through our annual Love Your Neighbor campaign.
Every day, neighbors in our community face real challenges—hunger, housing instability, and a lack of support during life’s hardest seasons. At Serve City, we have the privilege of walking alongside them, offering hope, dignity, and practical help. Throughout February, leading up to Valentine’s Day, we’ll be sharing personal testimonials on social media that highlight how God is working through this ministry to change lives—stories of restoration, provision, and love in action.

This year, we’re excited to offer a fun and heartfelt way for you to give back while blessing someone you care about. With a minimum donation of $25, you can send a Candy Gram to a family member or friend—sharing sweetness with them while extending love to a neighbor in need. Simply follow this link to make the donation; once received, I will reach out to confirm recipient names/addresses. You may send as many Candy Grams as you’d like, with an additional $25 donation for each recipient.
👉 Please return by Monday, February 9th to ensure delivery before Valentine’s Day.

We also invite you to celebrate love in person at our Love Your Neighbor Night on Wednesday, February 11th, from 5–7pm, at The Source (622 East Avenue, Hamilton, OH). This free, family-friendly event will include Valentine card-making, pizza generously provided by All8Up Pizza, and joyful dancing led by our Executive Director, Dr. Tammi Ector. Tours will be available, and our staff will be on hand to share more about the ministry and answer questions.
You are part of the story God is telling in our community. When you give, attend, and share, you help turn compassion into action and faith into love that can be felt. Together, let’s love our neighbors well—because when we do it for the least of these, we do it for Him (Matthew 25:40).
We can’t wait to celebrate with you. 💜
With Love,
