Have a Heart for Dale
Here is his story, told in his words about the hurts from the past that led him to become homeless, the help he currently receives at Serve City, and the hope he holds for his future moving forward.
Hurt – I lost my job. Then I had a falling out with my roommates. After that, I had an allergic reaction.
Help – I got out of the hospital and came here to Serve City a year ago. Right. I got emotional help by working with Access Counseling. I work in the kitchen here. I tried the apartments for a minute. Then I got an EHV [Emergency Housing Voucher] and a place in line. Now I’m waiting for inspection. Amber’s been great. Everybody’s been great.
Hope – New start. New life.
