SHELTER

ree

Andrew Ferguson stepped in as a hero when our residents needed one the most. Through The Shoe Project, he equipped them not just with new shoes but with dignity, hope, and a

tangible reminder that they matter. His generosity helped remove a barrier on their journey, allowing them to take their next steps with confidence. We're grateful for Andrew's heart to serve and the way he helped our resident heroes move forward.

HOUSING

Serve City is thrilled to launch our new Permanent Housing Project in partnership with Butler Metropolitan Housing, a vital next step in the journey from homelessness to housing stability. With 25 Project-Based Vouchers now available, individuals with high needs start a new chapter—signing leases, moving into safe, stable homes, and beginning to rebuild their lives. This partnership equips our tenant heroes with the foundation and support they need to experience sustainable success in their forever homes.

THE SOURCE

ree

The Source is more than just a building—it's a place where transformation takes root. Recently, this multi-ministry space hosted a celebratory brunch to honor Sacred Heart Church, the champions of our Holy Harvest Showdown food drive. But the impact doesn't

stop there. The Source equips residents with life-changing skills through holistic programming that empowers them to thrive. It also brings together heroes from across our community— such as the Hamilton Police Department, the Boys and Girls Club, Matandy, Meyer Brothers, and dedicated volunteers like Vickie Cross and Adriana Reyes to collaborate, dream, and build a stronger, more connected place for us all to call home. The Source's pop-up pantry is open Tuesdays, 10 am-12 pm, and on Saturdays, at the same time through August.

DONORS

Our Christmas in July campaign was a tremendous success, and it's all thanks to you — our generous supporters. Because of your contributions, Serve City is better equipped to fulfill its mission of meeting the needs of those experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and food instability. You stepped in as the hero of the story, helping vulnerable individuals take real steps toward stability and hope. Your support makes a lasting difference, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for helping us change lives—one story at a time.

VOLUNTEERS

ree

Behind every act of hope at Serve City is a hero like Ms. Sherry. For the past two years, she has faithfully supported our administrative operations—filing paperwork, scanning, assisting the Leadership Team, and keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes. While she may not always be front and center, her impact is felt across Serve City every day. Because of

her dedication, our team can serve more people, more efficiently. Ms. Sherry proves that you don't have to be on the front lines to change lives—you just have to be willing to show up and serve. She reminds us that small, consistent acts of service often make the biggest difference. We're proud to honor her as our July 2025 Volunteer Spotlight. Thank you, Ms. Sherry, for being a vital part of the Serve City story.

Blessings!
